Between presents for teachers, Christmas parades, catch-ups and work Christmas parties the weeks leading up to Christmas feel like a whirlwind of activity where time slips through my fingers at light speed. While time is short I still like to bake the odd gift. Really, who doesn’t like receiving something home baked? It is after all the festive season and to me sharing and caring also involves eating. With this in mind I decided a mince pie to share was the way to go.
Now we can’t take all the credit for the creation of this one, we were inspired by ideas gathered via Pinterest. If you haven’t yet delved into the world of Pinterest go take a look, it’s a great way to create your own ideas boards, collect recipes and gather inspiration for projects – we love it. It does come with a warning though, be prepared to get lost for hours looking at beautiful images.
